Beef Lo Mein
  • Ingredients (2 servings)

    • 1 lb cooked noodle (or pasta)
    • 6 oz flank steak (sliced) *
    • 4 oz snow peas (trimmed) 
    • ½ small red bell pepper (julienned) 
    • 1 stick carrot (julienned) 
    • 1 stalk celery (sliced) 
    • 1 medium onion (wedged)
    • 1 stalk scallion (diced) 
    • 4 tbsp Asian Menu™ Classic Stir-Fry Sauce
    • 1 ½ tbsp oil

    * You can substitute flank steak with chicken, pork, seafood, and vegetables.

  • Instructions (20 minutes)

    1. Cut flank steak against the grain and into thin strips. Remove excess water.
    2. Cut the ends of the snow peas and peel away the string. 
    3. Slice red bell pepper, carrot and celery into thin strips.
    4. Cut onion into wedges.
    5. Cut scallion into 1/8 inch dice.
    6. Boil noodle until just done, rinse in cold water, then set aside.
    7. Blanch snow peas, red peppers, carrots, celery and onions in boiling water for 10 seconds.
    8. Heat oil in wok or skillet at high heat (approx. 400°F).
    9. Stir fry steak until desired doneness.
    10. Add vegetables, noodle and Asian Menu™ Classic Stir-Fry Sauce.
    11. Toss until noodle is hot and sauce fully coats each ingredient.
