Classic Lo Mein

Classic Lo Mein
  • Ingredients (2 servings)

    • 1 lb cooked noodles (or pasta)
    • 4 oz snow peas (trimmed)
    • ½ small red bell pepper (julienned)
    • 1 stick carrot (julienned)
    • 1 stalk celery (sliced)
    • 1 medium onion (wedged)
    • 1 stalk scallion (diced)
    • 4 tbsp Asian Menu™ Classic Stir-Fry Sauce
    • 1 ½ tbsp oil

    * You can also add your choice of chicken, beef, pork and seafood to this dish.

  • Instructions (25 minutes)

    1. Cut the ends of the snow peas and peel away the string. 
    2. Slice red bell pepper, carrot and celery into thin strips.
    3. Cut onion into wedges.
    4. Cut scallion into 1/8 inch dice.
    5. Boil noodles until just done, rinse in cold water, then set aside.
    6. Blanch snow peas, red peppers, carrots, celery and onions in boiling water for 10 seconds.
    7. Heat oil in wok or skillet at high heat (approx. 400°F).
    8. Add vegetables, noodle and Asian Menu™ Classic Stir-Fry Sauce.
    9. Toss until noodle is hot and sauce fully coats each ingredient.
