Sesame Encrusted Tuna
  • Ingredients (1 serving)

    • 2 oz yellow fin tuna saku block 
    • ½ oz Asian Menu™ Sesame Garlic Sauce 
    • ½ oz Asian Menu™ Orange Ginger Sauce 
    • 1 ½ oz heavy cream 
    • Spring mix salad greens
    • Mandarin orange segments. 
    • Black sesame seeds 
    • White sesame seeds
  • Instructions (15 minutes)

    1. Cut tuna into 1”x1”x 1.5” then blot excess water with paper towel.
    2. Roll in black & white sesame seed blend (25% black, 75% white).
    3. Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in pan to 300°F the sear each side of the tuna to brown the  sesame seeds (no more than 20 seconds). 
    4. Use a sharp knife and slice into 3 pieces then skewer with flat bamboo skewer.
    5. Serve on salad greens with mandarin orange segments. 
    6. ½ oz Asian Menu™ Sesame Garlic Sauce for dipping tuna 
    7. Salad dressing – ½ oz Asian Menu™ Orange Ginger Sauce, 1 oz heavy cream.
